Community Group is a group of people that meet at Haven Baptist Church on Sunday evenings from 6-7:30. Usually, we start with a drinks and snacks and 20-30 minutes for the entire group to fellowship together. After that, the group will split up into smaller groups at individual tables for a time of discussion and prayer amongst that smaller group, this discussion and prayer time usually won't last longer than an hour.

The goal of this, is for our church members to get to know one another on a more personal level and to be challenged to share their knowledge, insight and faith with others. Of course, we hope that individuals will especially connect with God as they participate in community amongst his people.

While Sunday morning service is valuable and important it doesn't meet every need that a person has when considering faith. When we are able to break up into smaller groups and get to know each other on a more personal level, we are able to make important connections that hopefully turn into lifelong friends and people that we can turn to in difficult seasons of life. When we are willing to spend that time together, centered around God, it will have a big impact on the growth of our faith.
